By accessing or using abackaudio.com, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Aback Audio is a static web application offering audio utilities, including compression, conversion, cutting, and merging, that execute locally in your browser. The service is delivered from Cloudflare Pages and performs no server-side audio processing.

Your audio files are yours. Because processing is local, you retain full ownership of your content and we never copy, store, or distribute it. The Service's software, design, and text are owned by Aback Audio and protected by applicable law; you receive a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use them.

You may use the tools for lawful purposes, including commercial work. You may not:

• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source of our codec assets
• Interfere with the operation of the Service or probe its infrastructure
• Misrepresent the Service as performing server-side processing
• Use the Service to process content you have no right to process

You are responsible for keeping your own backups. Because processing happens in your browser's memory, closing the tab or reloading the page clears any in-progress work. We recommend processing copies rather than originals until you have verified your output.

Output quality depends on the codec, settings, and your browser. Lossy formats (MP3, OGG) remove information by design; lossless formats (FLAC, PCM WAV) preserve samples. Each tool states whether its output is lossless or lossy, and we do not claim otherwise.

Very large files may exceed your device's memory; the tools warn you in advance rather than failing silently.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that outputs will meet your specific requirements.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aback Audio shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Because your files never leave your device, our liability exposure is limited to the availability and correctness of the software itself.

The Service may display advertising and link to third-party websites. Advertisers and linked sites have their own privacy practices and terms, which we do not control. Ad networks never receive your audio or file metadata.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any tool at any time, and we may revise these Terms. The latest version always appears on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
